This martial arts school is extraordinary! My boys all attend and Saya Dan’s patience and skills seem limitless. It provides a unique opportunity for my autistic child and my neuro-typical kids to all do something together. AMAZING!!
Our daughter has attended the young adult class for about a year. We drive an hour to get to this class each week, and it is worth every minute spent on MoPac! We are so pleased with Saya Dan’s skill in customizing the karate experience for each student. This is genuine, serious karate training, but with extra attention devoted to developing self-confidence, social skills, goal-setting, and self-determination for students with special needs.
My son has been attending for the last 4 years. Great school to build confidence and skills. Small classes and one-on-one attention. Highly recommend.
One of a kind that you will not find anywhere in the world. It requires passion and dedication to do this, not everyone can do it. I am amazed at Master Dan(s) teaching and his passion for special need kids. We got the training from him and learn a lot. Many thanks to Dan and One World Karate

My son has been attending this martial arts school for two years. I like that the benefits of both the physical form and the mental discipline of karate are given equal priority. Attention to the special needs of individual children while in groups of differently abled individuals is well managed and reinforces to everyone present that we are all one people and all deserving of respect and acceptance. My son has sensory and attention issues and has continued to improve in these domains while a student at one world karate. I appreciate the manner in which the well trained staff work with the students to continually strive for their best effort yet.
Small classes and Saya Dan Is wonderful. My daughter loooooves going to karate here. My favorite thing? The studio is super-clean!
Saya Dan is excellent with children and is exceptional with children who struggle with participating with their peers for any number of reasons. He truly has a passion for the martial arts and for sharing that passion with people of all abilities.
We had our son start attending Karate with Saya Dan a year ago. After 3 or 4 months we were seeing more focusing and behaving better. At first he didn’t want to go but now enjoys it. This is all because of Saya Dan. He has an amazing way of connecting with all the children and strikes a very good balance between firm and funny. In the end, the children learn not just Karate, but the focus and the discipline. He is very patient and works with each child.
My 5 year old with ASD has been attending for almost a year now. She loves it and looks forward to seeing her friends, “The Karate Girls” every Saturday. Saya Dan is amazing with all of the kiddos.
